Analogue Animation Workshop

Get creative in this free introductory class to analogue and hand-made animation with director Miranda Peyton Jones at FishTank Workshop and Gallery.

Part of a new series of analogue and print animation workshops, each session is a chance to learn, experiment and have fun with different hands-on techniques, try out new ideas and meet fellow experimenters. This class explores the wonders of stop-motion animation using collage and paper cut-outs. Expect to come away with a piece of moving image and your printed materials.

No previous animation or drawing skills are necessary. All materials are provided; you just need a smartphone with the free app Stop Motion Studio, ideally downloaded before the workshop.

Under 18s are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
