Overview

The Francis Crick Institute is an independent biomedical discovery institute where researchers pursue the biology underlying health and disease. It is a unique partnership between six leading organisations: the Medical Research Council, Cancer Research UK, Wellcome, UCL, Imperial College London and King's College London.

Officially opened in 2016, the Crick now brings together more than 2,000 people and over 100 research groups, with scientists from different disciplines working side by side to make discoveries that can change lives.
