Camdenist

Overview

Camdenist is a weekly newsletter of culture, opinion and events written from a north London perspective. Published every Friday by journalist Tom Kihl, it reaches a community of more than 7,500 local readers with essays, interviews, independent recommendations and a curated diary of what to do across the borough.

Now in its fifth year, the title is published by The Local Content Company, which also produces This Is The Wick in Hackney Wick. Its writing champions independent venues, small businesses and the people who make neighbourhood culture, making the case for local, human-scale storytelling in an increasingly global and algorithmic media landscape.
